What personal data we collect
- Information you give us — name, email, phone number, company details and the content of your message when you complete our contact form, request a quote, or email/call us.
- Client engagement data — where you become a client, the financial, tax and identity information needed to deliver our services and meet legal obligations (including anti-money-laundering checks).
- Technical data — anonymous usage data such as pages visited and device/browser type, collected via privacy-respecting analytics to improve the website.
- Calculator inputs — figures you enter into our online calculators are processed in your browser to produce an estimate; we do not store them on our servers.
How we use your data and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries — lawful basis: legitimate interests / steps prior to entering a contract.
- To provide our services — lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To meet legal and regulatory duties (e.g. tax, anti-money-laundering, accounting records) — lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To improve our website and services — lawful basis: legitimate interests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
How we share your data
We only share personal data where necessary: with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, our website form provider Formspree, and email/IT providers), with HMRC, Companies House and other authorities where legally required, and with finance lenders only where you ask us to arrange finance. All processors are bound to protect your data and use it only as instructed.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact unless you become a client. Client records are retained for at least 6 years after the end of our engagement to comply with HMRC, Companies House and professional record-keeping requirements, after which they are securely deleted.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing of your personal data; to object to processing based on legitimate interests; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, email info@accuprime.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
